I've traveled in the developing world a lot, and my stomach got bad on several trips, but always recovered, until I spent a year in Bolivia in my 20s. My stomach was never quite the same after that. I did have some tests done and no parasites were found, but it sure seems like something got started there. It seemed to evolve into a kind of IBS.

So, just to follow up – it sounds like many people did not have GI tract issues before meds, but that just about everyone has had issues since meds.

Is there anyone who has *not* had GI tract problems (ranging anywhere along that tract from top to bottom) during w/d?
