Hi Shane, I am one of the "long-termers" and I am still suffering even if I have had some improvements. These are my remaining symptomes:
-physical: severe ataxia, lack of balance, huge pain in my left knee. Walking is very hard.Loss of appetite (Again but not as severe as 2 years ago)
-psychical: it's very difficult to explain because I have feelings I have never had in my life: it is a kind of sadness-anhedonia-pessimism-fear of death -loneliness. I don't see my future.I felt better last year but I hope it's only a wave.
I use to say that I am like somebody who has been very ill for years.
Severe anxiety since childhood .SSRIs for OCD.
Major traumatism in my life:Prozac during short periods.
Deroxat (=Paxil) during 7 years.
Three unsuccessful atempts to quit.
Deroxat free since may 2008 (Cold turkey )
Cosette, I just wanted to say that often the last stage of w/d is the depression and anhedonia phase...sounds to me like you are in that last phase!!
Zoloft25, please share what symptoms you are still having at 30 months and what improvements you have seen over the last 3 years. x
Put on citalopram July 2009 during a physical illness - didnt need it. 40mg
went down to 20mg July 2010 CT in Jan 2012 - 2.5 years on.
Tried to restart July 2012 due to 1 panic attack (never had one before - start of CT W/D) - adverse reaction
Down to 1.5mg from the failed RI
Now at 0.48 and trying to stabalize - been 6 weeks

Where do you get this info from Iggy ?
It just seems to be a pattern I have noticed, also it was discussed on here a while ago, cant find the thread but I think it was called ''stages of withdrawal''
