Moui, the brain is very plstic and its said that cbt actially reates new neuronal networks, yes sometimes by exposure therapy in a sense and smetimes by simply changing the way the brain responds...

Im going out now but want to talk more about this matter, in w/d these techniques help to cope through the day, but out of it I do think it could actually change the functiona dn reaction of the brain, sadly our brains are being led by a stronger force than mere thought at this moment, but maybe one day eh?

Stan – I meant to say – that is really great about the escalators!

Caroline – I have difficulties with stove and locks that I never had one iota of before meds.
    Meds free since June 2005.

"An initiation into shamanic healing means a devaluation of all values, an overturning of the profane world, a peeling away of inveterate handed-down notions of the world, liberation from everything preconceived. For that reason, shamanism is closely connected with suffering. One must suffer the disintegration of one's own system of thought in order to perceive a new world in the higher space."

As an aside, and Sheila will also know this, CBT was 'invented' before SSRIs. It's not designed for the chemically-altered brain.

Stan, so good to hear of your healing. May there be a lot more to come!
Aropax (Paxil). Currently at 13mg and holding.
Added Endep (amitrypline) 12.5 for sleep - 11 July 2013
