ROBERT WHITAKER

Robert Whitaker is an American journalist and author. He won numerous awards as a journalist covering medicine and science. He wrote, among others, Mad in America, in which he expresses his criticism of pharmacological approach in treating mental illness and Anatomy of an Epidemic, that deals with an unprecedented rise of mental epidemic in America (which closely correlates with the number of prescribed drugs).
